Kirsten “Kiki” Ringer is a powerhouse in the publishing industry, bringing more than 30 years of expertise across editorial, marketing, subsidiary rights, and career strategy. She held key roles at The Walt Disney Studios, Penguin Putnam, and the legendary Russell & Volkening Literary Agency, where she collaborated with Nobel and Pulitzer Prize-winning authors.

For the past 17 years, she has led KLR Literary Management, working almost exclusively with author-publishers who take full ownership of their publishing journey while producing books to traditional-industry standards.

Kiki has launched and marketed countless titles across fiction and nonfiction, negotiated foreign and subsidiary rights, built author brands from the ground up, and coached writers through the emotional rollercoaster of publishing. Having worked in every major publishing model, she now teaches authors the full spectrum of options and helps them choose the path that best fits their goals. A sought-after speaker, she delivers workshops and keynotes on book marketing, author platform development, and the power of storytelling at conferences nationwide.

Known for her no-nonsense strategy, creative vision, and fierce advocacy for authors, Kiki’s mission is simple: change the publishing narrative, one well-prepared author at a time.

Kiki’s passion for publishing began in kindergarten when she wrote her first book, Ruby Diamond and the Jewel Thief. She is a 500-hr certified yoga instructor and mindfulness practitioner. When she’s not training for a triathlon, she’s most often found snuggling her Dobermans. Though she does take off Saturdays during the fall to watch college football. Roll Tide!
